Spring Chinook Salmon

  Spring Chinook Salmon starts in mid March and goes through June.  We will be fishing the Columbia, Lewis, Willamette, Cowlitz, Wind, Kalama Rivers and Drano Lake.  These salmon range from 10 to 40 lbs and the late run of them known as the June Hogs can be over 50 lbs.  We use various lures and bait to catch these salmon.  Fishing limit is 2 per person per day on non native salmon.

FALL CHINOOK

Fall Chinook and Coho Salmon begins around the beginning of August and runs through October.  This is definately exciting fishing for these fall chinook.  They are wild and not willing to make anything easy for the fisherman that hooks one.  These salmon range from 10 to 55 lbs and Bill knows exactly where to catch these fish.

Coho or also known as Silvers are smaller fish ranging between 5 and 20 lbs.  They may be smaller, but they still know how to put on a show and make you work for them.
