About Your Guide...
Bill Woods
Bill Woods grew up on these rivers.  Fishing since he was a boy with his dad and older brother off the banks of the Columbia and Washougal.  He later got his own boat and began fishing other rivers such as the Lewis, Cowlitz, Kalama, and Wind Rivers and also Drano Lake.  Bill has years of experience to share with you and he has fun with what he does.  You won't find another man that enjoys fishing as much as him.  Not even weather can stop him from going out and catching these fish.  Depending on the season you can find him on the water somewhere.  Fishing for sturgeon on the Columbia at the Bonneville Dam in the snow or down by the Astoria bridge under the blazing sun.  He could also be fighting the steelhead from his driftboat on the Washougal in the pouring rain or out of the sled on the Cowlitz.  In the spring you will see him one week fishing the mouth of the lewis and the next at Drano lake catching his share of the tasty springers.
