The Columbia River

 You can't find much better fishing then that of the Columbia River.  You can fish all year round.  It has the largest salmon and steelhead runs.

Every year the runs grow larger and larger and the fish get fatter and fatter.

Estimated Spring Salmon run numbers for 2008 over the Bonneville Dam is 270,000.

There is also excellent Sturgeon fishing on the Columbia.  We fish from the Astoria Bridge to the Bonneville Dam.  On a great day we will limit out early and then go for the big hogs.  I'm talking the 7 to 15 foot Sturgeon.  This is when we use a whole shad to catch these massive creatures.
